March Madness in Tucson

The saying is that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. Let’s hope so! Here we are in the second week of this crazy month, enjoying 90 degree weather, after suffering through all of those grueling weeks of winter weather.  😉  The timing couldn’t be any better, tho, as the city gets set to host the Annual Tucson Festival of Books.

If you are heading to the Festival this weekend, make sure you take your Festival guide  or download the mobile app. There will be more than enough literary fun to fill both days and you won’t want to miss any of it. And if this weekend isn’t enough for you, Brewd has a couple of other fun book related events this month. (Mark your calendars for the next Writer’s Read, coming March 23rd.)

To make sure you don’t run out of fuel, we will have breakfast burritos, ready to go with your coffee or tea drink. While you’re at it, grab a bottle of water to throw in your bag for later. And remember, you can call ahead to place your order, if you are in a real hurry! For those who are not in a hurry, we have some special cinnamon roll pancakes, just for this weekend! Maybe you should take a few extra minutes and linger over your breakfast, then head to the Festival.

Of course, the madness doesn’t stop this weekend. All of Wildcat nation is alive with Cat fever! While the Wildcat Men’s basketball team works their way through the Pac-12 Tournament, we cross our collective fingers that they will be going to the Big Dance again this year. It’s been a great year so far, for our cardiac Cats, and nobody wants to see it end.

Whether you love reading or basketball (or both, like we do), we hope you will make Brewd part of your fun this month.
